PRESIDENT
Tony Nool
Tony Nool is an University Development Manager for Grand Canyon University’s Military Division - Southern California. Tony has been in higher education for nearly a decade. Prior to working in education, he served in the Navy for 4-years and was stationed in San Diego as an Information System’s Technician. He was stationed onboard the USS John Paul Jones and on October 7, 2001 helped conduct the first strikes after 9/11. Tony earned his bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and master’s degree in Leadership & Organizational Studies from Fresno Pacific University. In his current position, he gets to partner two fields he is truly passionate about – his love for education and his desire to help military members (active duty, veterans and their dependents) succeed.

PRESIDENT-ELECT
Anthony Paolino
Anthony joined the military following the events of 9/11, first in aviation and then as a training instructor. He served in several capacities stateside and abroad in Kuwait, Qatar, Germany and Afghanistan during his 12 years in the U.S. Air Force. He later founded two nonprofit organizations, the Rhode Island Student Veterans Organization (SVO) & Rhode Island Military Organization (RIMO) and served as the RIMO CEO. Both organizations focus on current and former military families and continue to serve the community today. Following the non-profit work, he was the Military & Veterans Affairs Liaison for United States Senator Sheldon Whitehouse where he interacted with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the DoD, Veteran Service Organizations & military constituents.
In 2015 Anthony joined General Dynamics Corporation where he served as the Military & Veterans Affairs Program Lead for GD’s submarine division, Electric Boat. In this role he worked with a variety of agencies and stakeholders to increase access and resources to current GD veterans. He also built pipelines of new veterans, getting them reintegrated, trained and prepared for employment across GD. In 2018, Anthony transferred to the GD NASSCO division as the head of Communications and Strategic Outreach. In that role, he led the company’s communications, strategic sourcing, public relations and corporate social responsibility efforts.
Most recently, Anthony moved back to serving the military community as the Chief Strategy Officer for Virtual Veterans Communities and the Deputy Director for the Helen Diller Veterans Center at Golden Gate University. In these roles, he helps organizations with building a best-in-class experience for veterans and transitioning service members.
Anthony is an adjunct professor at night and is passionate about both higher education and the student veteran experience. He holds a B.A. in Business and Leadership Studies from Providence College and an MPA from Brown University with a focus in Public Policy and Corporate Governance.

Jeremiah Irvin
Jeremiah is a Regional Coordinator, Military & VA Relations, at National University, serving servicemembers, veterans, and their families in the greater San Diego region. He is an Army veteran with over 10 years of service in both the active and reserve components. Jeremiah joined National University’s military outreach team in 2017 and remains an active member in San Diego’s military and veteran communities.
Prior to joining National University, Jeremiah supported numerous organizations as a Department of Defense contractor, including platform design at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), as well as public relations and community engagement for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Phoenix and a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications from National University.

Kalie King
Kalie serves as an Admissions Counselor for Grand Canyon University’s Military Division in the Palm Springs, California Territory. Through this work, she helps Military members and their families reach their educational and career goals. Kalie has worked in higher education for five years and is excited to continue working in Military education specifically as she enters her second year. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts from Sterling College, and her Master of Business Administration from California Baptist University. She looks forward to further plugging in to the military community in both her work and this position as part of the California ACME Board.

Mark Francisco
Mark Francisco serves as the Director for Military/VA Relations, Territory IV at National University. After serving 30 years, he retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. Mark was a formal school instructor for approximately three years and is very passionate about service members taking advantage of education opportunities. He has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degree from National University.

Wendy Sickora
Wendy Sickora served in the Marine Corps for 21 years in the following occupations; aircraft maintenance, engine testing, career planning, administration, recruiting, and coordinating the Toys for Tots program at her reserve unit.
Wendy currently serves as the Legislative Co-Chair for the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME). She has been in higher education for 11 years and involved in military & community college outreach. She received her Associate of Arts Degree in Selective Studies from Miramar Community College in San Diego, her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University. She is currently attending Brandman University in the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program, scheduled to graduate December 2020.

Michael Ramlogan
Michael has been successful in working with Legislators making positive changes in Laws supporting military & veterans. Michael also serves on numerous military and veteran boards and or organizations. Michael has a Masters of Law degree and has received numerous recognitions for his exceptional services to the military and veteran communities from City Council, State Assembly, State Governors, U.S. Congress and U.S. Senate. Michael has also served honorably in the United States Marine Corps.
